I look forward to meeting you!
I am currently working with clients in New York and in Tel Aviv, where I am meeting with new clients one-on-one. My appointments for new and existing clients include in-person visits, teletherapy, and phone sessions lasting 45 minutes per meeting.
FAQ
-
How does teletherapy work?I offer online therapy to provide flexibility for those who may travel for work and those who live outside of New York City or Tel Aviv. I use a HIPAA compliant, encrypted platform to meet with clients over video.
-
What is your payment and cancellation policy? Please contact me directly to discuss payment. I offer a free, 15-minute phone consultation to get a feel for your needs and see if we will work well together. If so, we will go ahead and schedule an appointment. I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I can provide documentation for reimbursable services if your insurance plan provides out-of-network benefits. Please contact your insurance company prior to the session to find out if this is the case for you. My cancellation policy requires 48 hours advance notice. Appointments canceled with less notice will incur the full session fee.
-
Is your treatment confidential?Yes, your treatment is confidential and your privacy is protected by law. Confidentiality is only broken if you express an active plan to hurt yourself or someone else, in order to keep you or another safe. In rare cases, treatment records can be subpoenaed by court-order.
-
What does a therapy commitment look like?Therapy typically consists of one weekly 45-minute session, though sessions may occur more or less frequently depending on your specific circumstances. I try to give each client the same appointment time each week for easier schedule coordination. I know life gets busy sometimes, but regular attendance is crucial for obtaining the best possible treatment outcome.
Israeli Clients:
Finding your place, in a new place
Being based in Israel, I understand the transitions, the idiosyncrasies of Israeli life and the culture shock that accompanies such a significant life decision. It is one of the foremost reasons that I choose to work and cater to native English speakers in Israel. While being an expat is full of surprises, I strive to make your new life in Israel one that is accepting, fulfilling, and serving you and your best interests.
